Palo Santo is a tree related to Myrrh and Frankincense that is used for its spiritual purifying properties. The smoke clears misfortune and negativity while ridding evil spirits. Palo Santo is traditionally used for relieving common colds, flu symptoms, stress, asthma, headaches, anxiety, depression, inflammation, emotional pain and more. It is part of the citrus family and has sweet notes of pine, mint, and lemon.
Sage can be help cleanse spaces and people of negative energies. It can relieve worries and de-stress the body and spirit. It is good practice to smudge a new house or during a difficult transition period in life. 
White sage (Salvia Apiana) is a plant native to high desert ecosystems and grows prevalently in California and in the Mountain West.
For hundreds of years, white sage has been considered a sacred, cleansing, purifying, and protective plant.
The leaves of the plant are a whitish-green, and if you rub the fresh leaves between your thumb and forefinger, a refreshing, cleansing scent is released.
